MISSION
NLPOA was founded in 1972, by Vicente Calderon and John Parraz.  The NLPOA was chartered on August 14, 1974.
The purpose of the organization is to eliminate prejudice and discrimination in the criminal justice system; particularly
 law enforcement, reduce community juvenile delinquency and lessen citizen tension in predominantly Latino communities.
